FAQ

There are a lot of prostate massagers on the market today. They come in all sorts of shapes and sizes, different materials, etc. But they seem to have a common issue in that they do not seem to be vetted by people actually using them! Most of these toys are made with subpar materials that can leach into your intestine. It’s not good! Instead of spending a bunch of money on a vibrating toy that was made with the cheapest materials possible, personally, I would rather spend a tiny bit extra on a toy that does it right.

What Are Aneros Made Of?

Aneros products are made of either ABS plastic or silicone. The Trident models and Progasm are ABS. The Syn models are silicone.

Should There Be Precum When Using Aneros?

Pleasure and pressure on the prostate will occasionally generate precum. Enjoy the sweetness!

Which Aneros Is Best?

There is no ‘best’ Aneros, it really depends on who you are and how advanced you are with butt stuff. That and also how deep your prostate is as some people have easy to reach prostates while others might be a wee bit deeper to get to. Please take a look at our Aneros Wizard which will help you select the right model.

What Is The Most Pleasurable Aneros For a Man?

Everyone has different definitions for the best pleasure. As an Aneros user for the past 6+ years, I find the Progasm is the best fit for me because it is rock hard, larger, and feels more like the toy is fucking you rather than the other way around. If you’re more of a beginner with butt stuff, I would look at the Helix Syn for comfort.

How Long Can You Leave An Aneros In?

The Aneros can stay in for as long as desired, typically an hour or two. Just be sure to use lots of lube, and be sure to reapply during sessions. For extended sessions consider using the Trident ABS hard plastic models as you can use silicone lube with them for extended wear.

How Often Should I Have Aneros Sessions?

The best frequency seems to be 3-5 days between sessions. It has been said that people have more success for a Super O when they’ve refrained from sexual activity for 3+ days.

What Is The Smallest Aneros?

The Eupho is the smallest.

How Much Lube To Use For a Long Aneros Session?

A nice glob on the tip of your pointer should be applied to the toy. Another glob should be inserted with a finger to pre-lubricant your butt hole. After 30-45 minutes, remove the toy and check there is still lube + reapply. Please read our article on lubricant.

How To Use An Aneros During Sex

Insert the Aneros with a prelubed butt and a glob of lube coating the toy. Insert the toy laying on your back, feet flat on the bed. Then continue with sex. Best position will be laying on your back to focus on the sensations. The toy is shaped in such a way to prevent it from falling out during sex, however it you’re ‘pushing’ out a lot, it may eventually fall out.

The Butt-om Line (My Opinion)

The contoured shape of the Aneros is in my opinion far superior to the other prostate massagers on the market today. A lot of the toys offered focus on vibrating models to enhance the experience. They mask pleasure waves and work against the goal. If the utmost goal is to have a hands free prostate massage, all attention must go towards recognizing pleasure. A vibrating model, or a model that doesn’t properly engage the prostate will leave most people disappointed and frustrated.

Guys typically aren’t taught about their sex organs other than their dick. Butt stuff is automatically labeled as gay, or queer, but the truth is it has nothing to do with sexual preference. For all those people out there that discover this small niche of sexual pleasure, it has nothing to do with who you want to be with.

There is nothing to be afraid of! Explore your nether regions, and learn about the power of the prostate and what it means to rewire your brain for the most intense orgasms of your life and improve prostate health. The next few pages of this site will dive into prostate play and what it takes to get there.

If you decide to embark on the journey, you want to have the right tools for the job, right? A lot of people jump in without directions and get frustrated when things don’t meet their expectations.

Prostate Massage FAQ

What Is The Difference Between Climax and Coming

The difference between climax and coming in regards to a prostate orgasm, is that prostate orgasms do not end with ejaculation, but with climax. Climax can be felt throughout the body that can be described as euphoric, capable of reaching your fingertips!

Traditional penile coming is limited in two ways.

1: You will no longer be biologically horny. While there are many men that can get their penises to perform several times in a row or multiple times in a day — you cannot change that you will not biologically be horny. At that point you may be processing your emotions through your dick and distracting yourself from the tasks at hand (We will discuss this topic a bit more in depth further down the line).

2: There is a physical refractory period where the penis and the associated reproductive systems need to take a break. During this period, the penis basically needs time before it can perform again.

Since the Super O does not end in ejaculation, there is no refractory period, and being on the edge can last for hours.

How To Find The Prostate Externally

1: First, locate the perineum, which is the area between the anus and the scrotum.

2: Place your fingers on either side of the perineum and press gently.

3: You should be able to feel a small, firm gland about the size of a walnut. This is the prostate gland. Firmly press, you can sort of feel it. It’s going to be that ‘different’ feeling.

External Prostate Massage

External prostate massage is a method of massaging the prostate gland through the perineum, which is the area between the scrotum and the anus. The goal of external prostate massage is to increase blood flow and circulation to the prostate, which can relieve symptoms of prostate disorders such as prostatitis, benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), or chronic pelvic pain syndrome (CPPS).

External prostate massage is performed by gently pressing and massaging the perineum, using the fingers or a special device designed for this purpose.

How To Hit The P Spot

There are several ways to hit the p spot…

How To Find The P Spot / How To Find The Prostate

Lay on your back with your legs bent, feet flat on the bed. Using a well lubricated middle finger, SLOWLY lubricate the anus and insert your finger.

Remember this is about the journey and not the destination.

There is a good inch or so of thicker muscle that you’ll feel inside. Use a lot of lube on this area and use your finger to spread it around.

Re-lubricate your finger and push it deeper towards your belly button to understand the landscape.

To find the prostate ensure your palm is up and use your middle finger to reach towards the back of your belly button. Using a ‘come hither’ motion, you should feel a small spongey walnut on the front wall. You’ll know it when you feel something different.

Be delicate, that’s the prostate. It is easy to use too big of a toy and hit the bladder which is slightly deeper in the anal cavity. We want the lower of the two.

How To Give a Prostate Massage

This is easier if you’re on all fours. The other person can insert their middle finger, or if they can take two fingers, the middle and the index finger pointed downward towards the belly button.

The motion is similar to delicately pressing buttons on a calculator. Pressure on, pressure off, over and over. In and out, gently.

Porn tends to show rapid and hard movements, but I think they are catering towards a traditional hardcore porn more so than a hands free prostate orgasm.

I find that if I massage my prostate more delicately, I have a much greater chance for an orgasm. The rougher or more pressure applied tends to go towards cum milking but with no orgasm. Fluid will come out, it will feel good, but I won’t feel like I’ve had an actual mind altering orgasm.

This is going to be a big part of your exploration process, so feel free to play with pressure, timing, and make sure to take plenty of breaks! If it hurts stop immediately.

How To Hit The P Spot With Aneros / Prostate Massagers

The Aneros are a line of prostate massagers of various sizes and choices that are made exactly for the purpose of prostate massage. Originally designed for prostate health in mind, prostate orgasm was not their focus in the beginning.

The Aneros is shaped to contour to your prostate with a gentle touch to apply pressure. Instead of a vibrating motor like a lot of prostate toys, Aneros focuses on shape.

I do not advise a vibrating toy! The vibration will mask any of the tingling you’re trying to feel.

The PC muscles (pelvic floor) is what drives the toy. As you contract and release, they toy moves and drives the pleasure naturally. This is what makes Aneros a hands free experience, and in my opinion, the best experience. Aneros allows for a fully focused session without any distractions.

How To Hit The P Spot With Dildos

There are tons of dildos on the market. Whatever you decide to go with, just be sure it’s made from medical grade silicone. There are a lot of dildos that are not body safe, that will leach chemicals into your bloodstream. So if you’re going this route anyway, it’s probably worth throwing a rubber on it. One company I’m fond of is Fun Factory, because they are made with medical grade silicone, AND they ship via Amazon. It’s one of the few that are truly a safe bet.

If you’re looking for the ‘right’ one, try and find something that has a natural curve that can replicate your finger giving a ‘come here’ motion. For whatever reason a lot of people seem to go for the biggest toys they can get their hands on, but if you’re in it for prostate massage, consider getting something that is narrow enough to hit the prostate in the 5-6 inch range.

Does Prostate Play Make Me Gay?

There is an old stigma surrounding butt play, where if you’re into taking it up the ass that you’re gay. I think we’ve all struggled a bit with that feeling of uncertainty, especially with the prominence and pervasiveness of porn. Porn has seeped into every facet of our lives, and it has increasingly done so at an earlier age.

But there is a difference between wanting to be in a relationship with somebody of the same sex and massaging the prostate for pleasure. They are not the same thing. You can melt with a toy bumping against your male g spot and still be straight as a razor! While there are obviously a lot of emotions attached to prostate play (pegging for instance can be an incredibly vulnerable experience), it should not be lumped in with who you want to be in a relationship with. It is strictly about achieving mind blowing orgasms.

Why Do Men Like Pegging?

Everyone is different and has a different interpretation, but the gist is typically a combination of playing with power exchange, being open and vulnerable with a partner, and if the correct dildo is used, the prostate massage you can benefit from.

Can Men Squirt?

In short, yes. It is generally achieved through rigorous rubbing on the prostate which may trigger a man to squirt a pre-cum-like fluid that is somewhere between pre-cum and urine. It is sometimes referred to as a sissygasm.

What Is Prostate Milking?

Prostate milking is the act of massaging the prostate via the rectum to the point that fluid starts to leak from the tip of the penis, usually pre cum / pre-ejaculatory fluid. While there are thousands of prostate milking videos on the internet today, the vast majority of them feature penile stimulation. While this might feel fantastic in its own right, they are different than what is discussed here. It feels nothing like the Super O.

Some people can even have a wet orgasm without penile stimulation, commonly through dildo use and vigorous stimulation of the prostate and bladder. While this too creates incredible sensations, it is not quite the same as the Super O.

What Does Prostate Milking Feel Like?

Prostate milking feels like a build up of pleasure and pressure in the reproductive system. It is incredibly pleasurable and you might have an urge to pee that manifests itself as precum forming at the tip of the penis. Some people drip very little, others are like a faucet.

Do Women Have a Prostate?

No! Women do not have a prostate! The prostate is an accessory gland that runs the urethra through in males. It is a muscular switching mechanism for urine and the fluids that encompass ejaculate, think of it like a transmission for fluids.

What Does Pre Cum Taste Like?

Precum tastes somewhat like sweetened water, but with the viscosity of runny honey. Prostate milking, edging, or using an Aneros will typically help generate precum.
